acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is a universal antioxidant that protects

heart is reversed by dietary supplementation with R--lipoic

- Vitamin E (tocotrienols and tocopherols). Everyone has heard
of the antioxidant Vitamin E, but what most people do not
know is that vitamin E consists of eight compounds of which
7 are only available in liquid form. For vitamin E to be effective
all 8 must be present not just the single non-liquid compound
found in supplements. BIONX SUPERMODEL's

brain cells. Historically, L-carnosine has been studied for
it's role as a lactic acid buffer in muscle tissue under anaerobic
conditions like weight lifting and high intensity aerobic
sports, but its most important applications are in biological
preservation or anti-aging. Note studies on page 57, "Carnosine's
effects on athletes" and "L-carnosine and impact
on cellular aging and telomere shortening" on page 56.
- standardized hawthorn. Increased levels significantly increase
the blood supply to the heart by dilating the coronary vessels
and by improving metabolic processes of the heart resulting
in an increased force of contraction and is beneficial for
modulating blood pressure. page 64.
